Starbucks says the sugar comes from protein-boosted milk, not the syrup, and plans to fight it. Somewhere in Seattle, a marketing team is quietly workshopping the phrase "sugar-free(ish)."

Megawatt Moment
Google just found a reactor's worth of power without building a reactor. Constellation Energy will add 890 megawatts to the PJM grid by upgrading 11 existing nuclear plants for Google parent Alphabet (GOOGL).
It's Constellation's second big tech uprate deal in a week. Evercore ISI analyst Nicholas Amicucci thinks the upside spreads well beyond one company.
Squeeze Play
Uprates are cheaper and quicker than new builds or still-unproven small modular reactors. Think modernized turbines, steam generators, and control systems at plants already humming.
PJM, the largest US grid, needs the juice. Data center demand is outrunning supply, and power costs have climbed sharply.
Chain Reaction
Per Evercore, the deals bode well for independent power producers with uprate-ready plants, like Vistra and Talen Energy (TLN). Uranium enrichers like Centrus Energy (LEU) should see more fuel demand. All three rallied in sympathy, while Constellation shares jumped.
Evercore estimates economically justified uprates could add 4 to 8 gigawatts by the mid-2030s. That's up to eight reactors' worth of power, no groundbreaking required.
