HAPPY MONDAY TO THE STREET.

Track and field, martial arts, even a little robot fΓΊtbol. Beijing just staged the first World Humanoid Robot Games. Unitree, the Chinese challenger to Tesla’s Optimus, stacked medals while X-Humanoid and UBTECH kept pace. The vibe? Steel quads, quiet egos, and coaches who swear their athletes never argue back. Give it a decade, and the VAR might be a robot, too.

MCGRAW HILL GETS AN A IN AI

Deutsche Bank Sees Hidden Value

McGraw Hill $MH may have flunked its IPO debut, but Deutsche Bank thinks the real test is just beginning. The bank initiated coverage on the newly public education firm with a buy rating and an $18 price target. That implies a 24% upside from Monday’s close β€” and a chance for investors to earn some extra credit.

Shares of McGraw Hill are still down about 15% since listing at $17 in late July. But analyst Faiza Alwy says the long-term thesis looks strong. She sees the company as a β€œhidden gem” well-positioned to capitalize on artificial intelligence by personalizing the learning experience and standing out amid a flood of low-quality AI-generated content.

Smart Contracts, Smarter Backlogs

The key to McGraw Hill’s model is predictability. In K–12 education, the company typically wins 25% to 30% of large state contracts, which last five to eight years and include upfront payments. That structure gives McGraw Hill a solid revenue backlog and protects it from short-term volatility.

Its higher-ed business is built on annual subscriptions, also paid up front, further reinforcing cash flow visibility. Deutsche expects revenue to dip in fiscal 2026 before accelerating through 2029 as long-term deals roll in.

Recession-Proof and Revenue-Ready

Alwy notes that McGraw Hill operates in a uniquely recession-resistant space. Education spending has remained stable for more than three decades, even during downturns. And with AI fueling new product innovation, the bank thinks the company can grow faster while defending its brand as a trusted content provider.

The bottom line? After a rocky start to life as a public company, McGraw Hill could be getting ready for a serious glow-up.
