Check-In Time

Airbnb is priced like a budget motel, and KeyBanc thinks investors should book a room. The firm upgraded the stock to Overweight on three pillars: durable, product-led growth, a budding hotel business, and a seat at the AI table.

Discount Lodging

Shares trade at 14.1x KeyBanc's 2028 EV/EBITDA estimate, below their three-year median of 16.7x. They also sit at a discount to traditional lodging peers, despite stronger growth and operating momentum.

Analyst Sergio Segura sees hotels becoming a credible second growth engine. He also argues Airbnb's unique inventory, global brand, and heavy direct traffic position it to cash in on the AI boom.

Five-Star Reviews

KeyBanc isn't exactly going out on a limb. Of the 45 analysts covering Airbnb, 27 rate it a Buy or Strong Buy, while 17 call it a Hold.

Still, a cheap multiple on a growing business rarely stays vacant for long. KeyBanc would rather investors grab the keys before the rest of Wall Street checks in.
