HAPPY THURSDAY TO THE STREET.

It’s spooky season for real estate — and we’re not talking about Halloween decor.

Redfin says 1 in 6 home deals is getting “ghosted” as buyers bail before closing. Between sky-high prices and scary mortgage rates, sellers are learning that today’s buyers expect perfection — or they disappear into the ether.

  • 🟩 | US stocks rose as tech led a rebound on strong earnings, hitting highs after a Trump–Xi meeting was set, easing trade jitters.

Timing is everything — and Foremost Clean Energy (NASDAQ: FMST) is executing at the perfect moment.

The firm is moving fast as the Pentagon launches a $1B minerals push and AI drives uranium demand through the roof, drilling on two fronts:

  • Jean Lake, where results hit 3.28 oz/ton gold and 1.26% Li₂O

  • Athabasca Basin, home to uranium grades 10-100x the global average.

With multi-billion dollar uranium producer Denison Mines (NYSE: DNN) holding ~19% of FMST shares and providing the technical firepower, this could be a de-risked play with a clear path to production.

AMAZON’S ROBOT ARMY TAKES OVER

Billions in the Balance

Amazon $AMZN ( ▲ 1.44% ) is about to replace humans with hardware. Morgan Stanley $MS ( ▲ 0.75% ) says the cost savings could be enormous.

The bank reiterated its Overweight rating and $300 price target, implying 36% upside, while projecting between $2-$4 billion in annual recurring savings by 2027.

The shift comes as Amazon pushes toward automating 75% of its operations, according to internal documents cited by The New York Times $NYT ( ▼ 0.09% ). The company plans to add 40 next-generation robotics warehouses and retrofit existing facilities, replacing roughly 600,000 human jobs in the process.

Robots That Deliver Returns

At its current pace, Amazon could cut fulfillment costs by as much as 40%. Morgan Stanley’s Brian Nowak says even modest efficiency gains of 20%–25% per order could meaningfully boost margins in the coming years.

Amazon CEO Andy Jassy has long touted robotics as a key to lower costs and faster deliveries. The tech giant already operates more than one million robots, and its Louisiana fulfillment center has shown what the next phase looks like, reducing per-order costs by about 25%.

Nowak believes the company’s next-gen “Blue Jay” system — capable of picking, storing, and sorting 75% of warehouse items — could accelerate automation further. The new system builds on years of in-house R&D and could help Amazon avoid hiring more than 160,000 new workers by 2027.

The Bigger Picture

While short-term investors may focus on Amazon Web Services’ dominance — and accompanying technical difficulties — Morgan Stanley argues that robotics will quietly become the company’s next major margin driver.

If Nowak’s math holds, automation could transform Amazon from an e-commerce giant into a logistics powerhouse — one that makes more money every time it skips the human touch.
