HAPPY JUNETEENTH TO THE STREET

Wall Street takes the day off for Juneteenth, the holiday marking the end of slavery in 1865.

To honor it, Utah's Redemption Bank, one of the few Black-owned banks in the US, is launching the Bank King Card, a debit card that funnels donations to single mothers in government housing, echoing the guaranteed-income pilots that have nudged families out of poverty nationwide. A reminder that financial access, not just returns, builds wealth over time.

Meanwhile, we’re celebrating by doing what we love: breaking down everything important that’s happening on Wall Street. (Even when there’s not much happening at all.)

WILL ELON CLEAR $1.3 TRILLION?

Elon Musk is officially the world's first trillionaire, and Kalshi traders are now haggling over the next zero. The question: does his net worth clear $1.3 trillion in Bloomberg's June 30 reading?

SpaceX's blockbuster IPO already vaulted him past Switzerland's entire economy, so the only suspense is how much daylight he leaves the rest of us.

NANO'S NUCLEAR OPTION

Stock Spotlight

  • Stock: Nano Nuclear Energy (NNE)

  • Firm: Roth Capital Partners

  • Current Price: $28.21

  • Price Target: $45

  • Implied Upside: 60%

Cold Start

Someone wants in early. Roth Capital initiated coverage of Nano Nuclear Energy with a Buy, wagering that its 15-megawatt KRONOS micro-reactor hits commercial life just as the power grid starts gasping.

Analyst Craig Irwin also likes that management is spreading its bets across the uranium lifecycle.

Power Hungry

The setup runs on the AI energy crunch. Hyperscalers including Amazon (AMZN) and Nvidia (NVDA) have pledged a combined $700B to build data centers, and those server farms devour electricity.

Irwin sees small modular reactors filling the gap, with advance orders from hyperscalers as the obvious catalyst. He calls Nano's meltdown-resistant, gas-cooled design differentiated enough to pull ahead of rivals.

Read the Fine Print

The Street is mostly on board. 5 of 6 analysts covering Nano rate it Buy or Strong Buy, and shares have run higher over the past month.

One key asterisk, though. Irwin ranks in the bottom 2% by track record, according to Wall Street Zen, making this a high-risk, high-reward play.

Promising upside… but maybe pack a hard hat?
