HAPPY THURSDAY TO THE STREET
Surveillance startup Flock just did one of the rarest things in Silicon Valley: apologize.
The traffic camera maker has taken serious heat recently, following a series of reports of police officers misusing its technology. One Georgia police chief, for example, ran his ex’s plate over 500 times in seven months.
The backlash was enough to make CEO Garrett Langley admit the company got this one wrong. The firm is now making abuse detection, a once-optional feature, mandatory. A bit like installing the smoke alarm after the fire.

Power Play
NBIS has nearly tripled in value in 2026 alone. Bank of America believes that, by now, more gains are just business as usual.
Analyst Tal Liani maintained his Buy rating and lifted his target, pointing to a cloud business built specifically for AI workloads, plus a data center pipeline stretching across the globe.
Watts Up
Liani argues Nebius runs a unified, end-to-end platform, and that management has the execution record to keep it growing.
Q2 backed him up. Adjusted EBITDA hit $236.2M against the $168.8M analysts expected, and revenue of $582.3M topped the $569.9M consensus.
Management also held its target of 800MW to 1GW of connected power by the end of 2026, which Liani says defuses investor worry over how fast individual sites come online.
Street Cred
Wall Street mostly agrees. Of the 19 analysts covering Nebius, 13 rate it Buy or Strong Buy, and none rate it Sell.
The stock is up some 185% year-to-date, and full-year guidance stayed put. For a company that sells compute by the megawatt, BofA argues, the power won’t go out anytime soon.

The recycling industry is entering a new era, but the biggest challenge is no longer just collecting materials, it’s proving their value. SMX (Security Matters) Public Limited is building the technology designed to solve one of the biggest problems around in sustainability: trust.
By embedding invisible molecular markers into plastics and other materials, SMX creates a digital identity that allows recycled content, origin, and lifecycle data to be verified from collection all the way through reuse.
SMX is tackling a massive global problem: how to prove that recycled materials are real, traceable, and valuable. As the world produces more waste and demands more recycling, the need for reliable verification technology is becoming increasingly important.
As companies, governments, and manufacturers push toward stronger sustainability standards, recycled materials could become one of the most important resources in the global economy.
SMX is positioning itself at the center of this shift by helping turn recycled materials into trusted, traceable assets. With the world moving from “trust me” to “prove it,” SMX could be building the infrastructure needed for the next generation of recycling, compliance, and circular manufacturing.
