HAPPY FRIDAY TO THE STREET

In case you missed this morning's announcement, we just opened the doors to our latest and most exciting venture yet. Introducing Street Sheet Strategies.

Yesterday, we called it the difference between being handed a fish and cooking the whole meal. Now, here's the menu, plainly: members get to follow three professionally managed portfolios, run in partnership with independent financial management firm DePaolo & May Strategic Wealth.

If you’re looking for the simplest path to a complete portfolio, that’s one way to view the product. It’s the premium wealth management experience, pre-packaged, without any advisory fees.

But we know most of you have a knack for picking your own stocks, too, so here’s the other way to think about it: an investing masterclass in real time. The managers provide full transparency behind every holding and weighting, along with monthly commentary and updates, as each strategy evolves with the market.

The first course landed this morning: members received their July updates with breakfast. We saved you a taste. Join here, or learn more below.

  • 🟥 | US stocks slid today as the chipmaker rout carried all three major indexes to a losing week.

  • 📈 | One Notable Gainer: Travelers (TRV) popped after a huge Q2 earnings beat.

  • 📉 | One Notable Decliner: Netflix (NFLX) sank as its own results failed to impress.

Brooks & The Street Sheet Team

Here's a number worth sitting with: 7.8%.

That's what the Street Sheet Strategies Enhanced Income portfolio currently yields in distributions, at less than half the interest-rate risk of the standard bond index. On $100,000, that's roughly $7,800 a year at July’s yield.*

In an economy where the job market is tightening and no paycheck feels guaranteed, a second income stream isn't a luxury. It's the position you build first.

Case in point: the market currently puts the odds of a September Fed hike above 60%. In this morning's letter, our Strategies managers explained to members why a book built like this barely cares either way. The reasoning — and the plan if a hike does materialize — is inside.

Enhanced Income is just one of three complete portfolios in Street Sheet Strategies, managed by a fiduciary firm running the same process they use for their private clients. Join today to reveal the full holdings, learn the process, and see what’s happening behind Wall Street’s closed doors.

MARKET SNAPSHOT

WHO WILL WIN THE WORLD CUP?

Sunday’s World Cup final is now officially the biggest prediction market ever built.

Kalshi’s Argentina-Spain contract has cleared $1.27B since Wednesday, dwarfing the roughly $2B the NBA finals drew and the $1B on the Super Bowl. Spain sits at 61%. Then again, the market gave both losing semifinalists a 10% edge, so price that confidence accordingly.

Market Movers

ALPHABET, BP, ALCOA

📉 | Alphabet (GOOGL) slid a second straight day on a report that Google is months late on its latest Gemini model.

📈 | BP (BP) rose on a report it will announce new multibillion-dollar investments in Iraq.

📉 | Alcoa (AA) slipped after cutting its 2026 alumina production outlook.

📈 | Nebius Group (NBIS) advanced after raising $775M in debt financing backed by its GPU infrastructure.

📉 | Intuitive Surgical (ISRG) sank despite beating on Q2 earnings and revenue.

Adhesive Conviction

JPMorgan wants investors sticking with 3M into next week’s print.

Analyst Chigusa Katoku upgraded the industrial giant to Overweight ahead of its earnings due Tuesday before the bell. Katoku argues that growth is finally taking hold at a company that badly needs it to power the next leg of EPS growth.

Broadening Out

The analyst’s case rests on AI demand spilling past the obvious winners. Data center and semiconductor sales are picking up the slack from soft consumer electronics and auto end markets, per the Katoku.

She also sees 3M gaining ground in mainstream products, with pricing that should stick even as inflation cools. JPMorgan models $2.26 per share for the quarter against a $2.24 consensus.

Split Decision

Wall Street is not sold. 9 analysts rate 3M a Buy or Strong Buy, but 8 say Hold, while another 2 rate the stock Underperform or Sell.

The Post-It-note-maker’s Q2 numbers land Tuesday. Katoku is betting the other half of the Street eventually sticks to her note.
