HAPPY FRIDAY TO THE STREET

Hackers have a new favorite language, and it isn't Python.

Researchers using advanced AI models uncovered critical flaws in PHP, the code behind most of the internet. This has set off a global patching scramble that some are already calling "Black October."

Somewhere, a cybersecurity team is on its fourth energy drink. Not quite the Halloween treat they were hoping for.

Fresh Air

Wall Street just found a new way to unwind.

Roth Capital initiated coverage of flavored hookah tobacco maker Air Global with a Buy rating.

Analyst Nick Anderson sees sharp upside ahead as the company expands into flavored vapes and nicotine pouches, funded by its core shisha business.

Shisha Cash Cow

Roth believes shisha carries more pricing power than traditional nicotine, thanks to fatter margins. The segment produced $396M of 2025 revenue and roughly $158M of adjusted EBITDA.

That cash is funding bets like a $20M stake in vape hardware maker Greentank and OOKA, a charcoal-free electronic hookah.

Shisha volume even grew slightly from 2018 through 2025, while US cigarettes shrank 6% a year. Not bad for a habit that's supposedly out of style.

Boom or Bust

There’s a catch: Anderson ranks in the bottom 20% of analysts by track record. Vices are always a volatile sector, and this is a particularly high-ceiling, low-floor pick.

Shares, public only since May, rose on the initiation. Strict indoor smoking laws in some states pose a hurdle, though Roth calls the regulatory backdrop favorable.

Air Global could be a breath of fresh air. Or it could just be blowing smoke.
