HAPPY MONDAY TO THE STREET
The DOJ spent nearly two years vowing to break up Live Nation (LYV). Then President Trump made a phone call. After one ring to a senior official and two White House meetings, the antitrust efforts appear dead in the water, leaving the concert giant poised to keep Ticketmaster.
Makes sense. If there’s one thing UFC Freedom 250 taught us, it’s that the president loves some overpriced tickets.

Legs Day
Needham analyst John Todaro thinks bitcoin's rebound has legs.
The flagship crypto soared roughly 22% last week, its biggest three-day gain since 2023. And it has continued its climb today, bringing adjacent names like Strategy (MSTR), Riot Platforms (RIOT), and Mara Holdings (MARA) higher with it.
Flushed Out
Todaro argues that cooling AI stocks and commodities make crypto look comparatively exciting to retail again.
Much of the selling is already done, according to the analyst. Digital asset treasury firms and miners dumped about $4.2B of bitcoin in the first half of 2026, more than any comparable stretch.
Needham's own sentiment gauge sank to its lowest reading since 2022. But then Spot bitcoin ETFs still pulled in roughly $1.6B last week, suggesting this latest uptrend is not purely a short squeeze.
History Rhymes
Some other experts see a similar setup. Jordi Visser of 22V Research pegged the move at seven times bitcoin's normal weekly swing, paired with that 200-day breakout. The combination has appeared twice in a decade, and both times bitcoin ran further in its wake.
However, BTIG's Jonathan Krinsky is less convinced, noting the 2023 run eventually rolled back to the 200-day. Anyone who has traded crypto knows price movement is bound to be whiplash-inducing. But for now, anyone looking at the chart can see the same thing: “Line goes up.”
