HAPPY WEDNESDAY TO THE STREET.
$5K for a bike? It’s a bold strategy, Cotton.
EV maker Rivian $RIVN ( ▼ 0.61% ) just unveiled the Also TM-B, a “pedal-by-wire” e-bike that charges via USB-C, recognizes your phone like a Rivian truck, and greets you by name before silently judging your fitness. Oh, and the price tag is a cool $4,500.
Especially eyebrow-raising, considering Rivian still hasn’t posted a single profitable quarter, and is bracing for a projected EV sales slump. Then again, if you’re going downhill fast, you might as well do it in style.
🟥 | US stocks fell as export-curb fears and weak earnings weighed on the market.

📉 | One Notable Decliner: Bitfarms $BITF ( ▼ 5.81% ) sank after announcing plans to raise $588M through convertible senior notes due in 2031.

Wall Street Isn’t Warning You, But This Chart Might
Vanguard just projected public markets may return only 5% annually over the next decade. In a 2024 report, Goldman Sachs forecasted the S&P 500 may return just 3% annually for the same time frame—stats that put current valuations in the 7th percentile of history.
Translation? The gains we’ve seen over the past few years might not continue for quite a while.
Meanwhile, another asset class—almost entirely uncorrelated to the S&P 500 historically—has overall outpaced it for decades (1995-2024), according to Masterworks data.
Masterworks lets everyday investors invest in shares of multimillion-dollar artworks by legends like Banksy, Basquiat, and Picasso.
And they’re not just buying. They’re exiting—with net annualized returns like 17.6%, 17.8%, and 21.5% among their 23 sales.*
Wall Street won’t talk about this. But the wealthy already are. Shares in new offerings can sell quickly but…

APPLOVIN’S NEXT LEVEL

A Dominant Player Levels Up
Deutsche Bank $DB ( ▲ 0.64% ) just initiated coverage on AppLovin $APP ( ▲ 1.19% ) with a Buy rating and a $705 price target — implying 25% upside from current levels.
Analyst Benjamin Black called the mobile advertising company “best in class” and said its dominance in mobile gaming ads gives it a massive advantage as it expands into new verticals.
New Frontiers in E-Commerce
AppLovin has surged 71% this year, but Deutsche thinks the rally isn’t done.
The firm highlighted the firm’s 80% share of the mobile ad supply market, with 55% on the demand side, a moat few competitors can cross. At more than one billion daily active users, AppLovin’s ad tech engine improves with scale, reinforcing its edge against rivals outside the major “walled gardens.”
Black sees the next growth phase coming from e-commerce advertising, a category he says could be “multiple times larger” than in-game ads. Expanding into this space should both diversify revenue and deepen relationships with new advertisers.
Deutsche also sees potential for AppLovin to push into other high-value industries — from financial services to media, healthcare, and broader transactional web services — over the long term.
Growth That Keeps Scaling
AppLovin’s topline growth has averaged 69% annually over the past three years, with little increase in operating costs — a sign of scalability few ad platforms can match. Deutsche expects the company to sustain 20%–30% annual growth near term as it leverages its data and reach.
For investors, AppLovin looks less like a game and more like a platform — one that keeps getting harder for the competition to beat.
